Same again Josh

26 August 2013

Gary Bowyer has called for more of the same from Josh King after his man-of-the-match display on Saturday.

The Norwegian international tormented the Barnsley defence throughout the 5-2 win at Ewood Park, capping a fine personal performance with his first goal of the season.

"I thought he was electric and he was positive in everything that he did," Bowyer told Radio Rovers.

"I'm sure his goal will give him a massive boost but with some of his wing play at times he was unstoppable.

"Now it is a case of him showing that and wanting to do that himself every week.

"Obviously we'll help him but he's shown what is capable of and we'll just make sure that we'll put those demands on him to do that."

Rovers are back in action against Bolton Wanderers next Saturday. Tickets are on open sale.

Tickets are priced from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors. Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk
