The Under-18s maintained their fine goalscoring form this pre-season with a 6-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
The young Rovers have certainly been amongst the goals this summer. Starting their campaign with 6-1 win over Burton Albion, they have since claimed a 5-1 win over Nike Academy, a 4-0 win over Liverpool County FA and an 8-4 win over Rochdale before Saturday's match.
Dean Rittenberg was the star of the show at Brockhall with a four-goal haul to go with a pleasing display.
Rovers started brightly, defender Sam Lavelle opening the scoring on ten minutes, Sam Joel netting on 20 to double Rovers' lead.
A third followed just before the break with Dean Rittenberg getting his first of the day.
On 55 minutes Rittenberg added his second to make it 4-0 and soon it was five as the young forward completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot.
There was still time for Rittenberg to grab his fourth goal as he netted with five minutes remaining.
"It was a very pleasing display, the lads played particularly well," said coach David Lowe.
"Sam Joel did ever so well playing just off the striker and I'm delighted for Dean Rittenberg, he deserved his four goals.
"It was just as pleasing to keep the clean sheet."
The Under-18s play their final pre-season friendly later today against Barking Abbey. Kick-off at Brockhall is at 1.00pm.
