Gary Bowyer will welcome several first team stars back into his squad for Saturday's first home league match of the 2013-14 season.
The Rovers boss rested several of his regulars for the Capital One Cup clash at Carlisle United on Wednesday night, but the likes of Scott Dann, Grant Hanley, Tommy Spurr, Leon Best and Jordan Rhodes should all return for the match against Nottingham Forest.
"We've said all along that it is going to be a squad game and I still stick by that," said Bowyer.
"On Wednesday we had a couple of players that were suffering from knocks that wouldn't have been ready if it had been a league game, so we took the opportunity to rest them.
"Some of them took their chance and put a case forward for being involved.
"We've lost Tom Cairney with his suspension, and Ruben has had his surgery, he is going to be out for a couple of months so we wish him a speedy recovery.
"Morten is in the squad tomorrow, he's been ultra professional and prides himself on his preparation and has been top drawer for us, and we are looking to add Corry Evans to the squad very shortly."
Rovers will still be without Matt Kilgallon and Lee Williamson but they aren't too far away from joining up with the main group, whilst Adam Henley will get another runout for the Under-21s this Monday at West Brom.
DJ Campbell, Dickson Etuhu and Paul Robinson are improving.
Tickets for Saturday's match will be on sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off. With prices starting from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors.
Unable to make the match at Ewood Park? Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary of the game.
