Midfielder back for Donny match

16 August 2013

Rovers welcome back Tom Cairney to the squad for this evening's Sky Bet Championship clash with Doncaster Rovers.

The midfielder missed last weekend's match against Nottingham Forest through suspension but is available for selection after serving his one-match ban.

Corry Evans could also come into contention after featuring for Northern Ireland in midweek. The midfielder, who was an unused substitute in the Forest game, is yet to make his Rovers debut following his transfer from Hull City.

Evans was one of five senior players away on international duty this week, with Gary Bowyer reporting all have come through the games unscathed.

"Everyone has reported back fit and well and we can just prepare now for Doncaster," said the Rovers boss.

Gary Bowyer has the likes of Adam Henley, Lee Williamson and Matt Kilgallon making good progress in their recovery from injury but this evening's first ever match between the two sides at the Keepmoat Stadium comes too soon.

Tickets for Friday's match at the Keepmoat Stadium will be on sale from the Soccer Centre Reception by the away end at Doncaster.

Prices are £23.00 Adults, £17.00 Seniors (aged 60+), £13.00 Young Persons 17-20 years, £8.00 Junior 12-16 years and £5.00 11 years & under.
