Make Ewood a fortress again

9 August 2013

Gary Bowyer has called on everyone connected with Blackburn Rovers to play their part in making Ewood Park an environment that the opposition will fear.

The Rovers boss has been impressed with the following his side has received in the two away games played and would like a fantastic atmosphere to greet the first home game of the season this Saturday against Nottingham Forest.

"You only have to look at how good our support was at Derby and how good our support was at Carlisle," said Bowyer.

"The fact that we are now able to play in front of our own fans we've got to make sure that Ewood becomes that fortress again.

"That is the role of the players, the staff, and the supporters, everybody plays their part in it.

"We've got to make sure that we create the right atmosphere and get back to being positive again, because when it is like that it is a difficult place for the opposition to come."

Tickets for Saturday's match will be on sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off. With prices starting from £19 Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 Juniors.

Unable to make the match at Ewood Park? Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary of the game.
