Sign off in style

26 April 2013

Gary Bowyer is aiming to end Rovers' season at Ewood Park by ensuring their safety in the npower Championship.

Saturday's match against Crystal Palace is Rovers' final game of the 2012-13 season on home soil and Bowyer wants the team to sign off in style.

Three wins in four outings have left Rovers needing just one more win to avoid the drop, with Bowyer wanting that task completed before the final game of the season away at Birmingham City.

"The aim is to try and get over the line as quickly as possible," said the Rovers boss.

"It starts with Crystal Palace and we are looking for the same performance that we produced against Millwall.

"Straight after the game on Tuesday we were talking about it because it is mathematically still possible.

"The players were very focussed more or less after the game to make sure we get over that line so that we can go to Birmingham in a relaxed mood.

"We've got to try and win the game, then we can go to Birmingham and try and stay unbeaten.

"It has been a difficult season for everyone involved with the club, to stay in this division would be a big relief."

Tickets for Saturday's match against Crystal Palace will be on sale until the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are £12 for Adults, £6 Seniors and £1 Juniors in all areas except the Jack Walker centre.

Reserve your seat today at and collect your ticket from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
