Gary Bowyer is eager for a repeat performance and result when Rovers take on Derby County this Saturday afternoon.
The two sides met back in January in the FA Cup with Rovers running out comfortable 3-0 winners at Pride Park to progress in the competition.
"I went to that game and I thought we were magnificent on the day," said Bowyer.
"Colin Kazim-Richards was brilliant for his goal. Scott Dann scores a fantastic effort and obviously Jordan chips in with his usual.
"That is what we'll be looking for again, the same application, the same desire and the same quality in the finishing."
For Bowyer, the match against the Rams will be a special occasion as he comes up against the club where he started his coaching career.
"I started off at Derby coaching under John Peacock who is now in charge of the FA," added Bowyer. "I was there for six years and I had six good years there before I came here.
"I've still got friends there, so it will be a special game, but it has nothing to do with me come three o'clock, it is obviously about our players beating Derby players and then hopefully we've got the three points."
Tickets for today's match will be on sale up until the 3.00pm kick-off. Prices are from £19 for Adults, £12 for Seniors and £7 for Juniors under 16.
