One match at a time

23 April 2013

Gary Bowyer believes the battle to stay in the npower Championship could go to the final game of the season.

Defeat on Saturday at Watford saw Rovers drop a place to 20th in the division, two points and two places ahead of the sides in the bottom three.

Now as Bowyer prepares his squad for the Tuesday night match against Millwall, the Rovers boss that they have to get something from the game at the Den.

"We've said all along that we felt it might go to the last game," said Bowyer. "We knew we had a game in hand, we knew that goal difference could come into it and that is the case.

"We've not got carried away when we got beat and dropped into the bottom three, and we haven't got carried away over the last two home wins.

"We've stayed calm, we've stayed level with it and the next games will be exactly the same.

"We'll go game by game and concentrate on one at a time and that is the next game against Millwall this Tuesday, we have to take something from it that is for sure.

"It wouldn't harm us to get a win at Millwall, but we can only control ourselves, I've said it all along.

"We start with Tuesday, if it goes to the wire, it goes to the wire and we'll prepare for that. If it finishes before then and we're safe then great."

Tickets for the match will be on sale from the Den on the day of the game priced £26 Adults, £17 for Seniors over 60, £13 for Under 16s and £7 for Under 12s.
