Ahead of the Watford game at the weekend Gary Bowyer has sung the praises of midfield trio Lee Williamson, David Jones, and Jason Lowe.
Williamson, who will face one of his former clubs on Saturday, put in a man of the match display as Rovers defeated Huddersfield Town 1-0 on Tuesday night, whilst Lowe and Jones have also been influential in recent games.
“Lee has been really good for us,” said the Rovers boss. “He has given us energy and he has quality on the ball.
"I thought he was rightly man of the match on Tuesday, although there were quite a few that ran him very close.
“You just look at the performances they’ve produced, not just Lee but David Jones has been very good and Lowey is an unsung hero – you look at his energy and his desire to put his body on the line, they all covered a huge amount of grass.
“The three of them are starting to contribute massively and work effectively together.
"I can't praise the players enough the way they've taken to me on both occasions in terms of helping me.
"It has been a joint effort and we've got the fans on board as well, who, the other night were tremendous."
Tickets for the Watford game go off sale at Ewood at 4pm on Friday, however they will be on sale from Vicarage Road on the day of the game. Prices are £26 Adults, £15 Seniors/Students and £10 Juniors.
