Keep adding to the points tally

18 April 2013

Gary Bowyer has stressed the importance of continuing to pick up points in the remaining games of the season.

Rovers are back in action this weekend when they travel to Vicarage Road to take on promotion chasing Watford in another hugely important npower Championship match.

Back to back wins over Derby County and Huddersfield Town has seen Rovers put some breathing space between themselves and the sides in the relegation places, but the battle to stay up is far from over with four games remaining.

"We are going to Watford, they play a certain formation and a certain style and we've got to be ready for that," Bowyer told Radio Rovers.

"It is important that we get a game plan together so that we can come away with some points from that game.

"They've a legend of a manager, I think I'm going to have to take my autograph book if I'm being brutally honest, he was a fantastic player and he is proving to be a fantastic manager.

"But it isn't me against him, it is Blackburn Rovers verses Watford. We just have to make sure that we all stick together again and try and get something from the game."

Tickets for Saturday's match away at Watford are currently on open sale with tickets priced at £26 Adults, £15 Seniors/Students and £10 Juniors. Call the ticket office for further information on 0871 222 1444
