Todd Kane has spoken of his delight at extending his loan spell with Rovers until the end of the season.
The defender, who is on loan from Premier League Chelsea, has been a revelation during his two spells with the club this season, impressing with his all-action displays at right back.
Kane's initial deal ended after the 1-0 win over Huddersfield on Tuesday night, but the agreement was in place to take his time with Rovers until the end of the season, something that the defender was happy with.
"I'm really pleased, it was a decision with Chelsea to come back for a month, and I spoke with Gaz and Chelsea and they wanted me to extend it," Kane told Radio Rovers.
"I'm playing alongside some great players out there so hopefully I can keep performing and doing as well as I can and get the results."
Now that Todd's immediate future is sorted, the 19-year-old is eager to ensure a strong end to the season following on from the back to back wins over Derby County and Huddersfield Town.
"Gaz has got us going, we are taking every game as it is, there are four games left, the season is far from over," added the defender.
"We aren't looking at the table because we know that if we win our games then we are out of the bottom three, that is the main thing."
