David Jones has heaped praise on manager Gary Bowyer after steering the club to the cusp of safety.
Rovers need just one win from their remaining two games to be assured of a place in next season's Championship, with the midfielder delighted with the way Bowyer has been with the players since taking over.
"Gary has been excellent, he has calmed the players down," said Jones. "He has that sense of calm that spreads throughout the squad and makes us relaxed and takes the pressure of us really.
"He has managed to settle us down, getting us playing well and organised. Five points with two games to go he has put us in a good position to secure safety for the season.
"He has done a great job and we've responded to him coming in. Now hopefully we can do it for him and the club and the fans at the weekend."
Rovers play their final home game of the season this afternoon when Crystal Palace are the visitors to Ewood Park.
Tickets are priced at £12 for Adults, £6 Seniors and £1 Juniors in all areas except the Jack Walker centre.
