Gary Bowyer will leave his squad selection to the last possible moment ahead of Saturday's match against Crystal Palace.
With Rovers still needing a win to be absolutely sure of their place in the npower Championship next season, the manager has several injury doubts for the final game at Ewood Park this term.
Colin Kazim-Richards (shoulder), David Dunn (ankle) and Markus Olsson (hamstring) all came off injured in the 2-1 win over Millwall in midweek, whilst Jason Lowe (knee), Gael Givet (hamstring), Martin Olsson (ankle) and David Bentley (knee) remain doubtful.
Speaking on Thursday Bowyer said: "The players are getting assessed daily and we'll know a little bit more by Friday.
'We are just hoping the medical team can patch them up and wheel them out."
With Rovers already without Paul Robinson, Jake Kean, Adam Henley, DJ Campbell, Leon Best and Dickson Etuhu for the remainder of the campaign, Bowyer has praised the squad as everyone has had to play their part.
"These things are sent to test you and it is when the value of a good squad comes into play," added the Rovers boss.
"I thought the players that came in, on Tuesday night especially, performed magnificently for us.
"David Goodwillie was outstanding and ran his socks off, Josh Morris, when he slotted in at left back, gave a sterling performance in the second half.
"The players that have come in have seen the standards that have been set and everybody is pulling together. That is the value of everybody sticking together."
