Rovers welcome back Grant Hanley and Colin Kazim-Richards for Tuesday's match against Millwall.
The Rovers duo have served their two-match bans for allotting ten yellow cards this season and come straight back into the squad for the match at the Den.
But whilst one centre half and striker return, Rovers will be without Leon Best and could be without Gael Givet.
The football club have decided against appealing the red card issued to Best in Saturday's loss at Watford whilst defender Givet is also a big doubt after coming off at Vicarage Road at the weekend with a hamstring injury, but the availability of Hanley and Kazim-Richards once more is pleasing to Bowyer.
"Kaz is a big player for us, you look at the level of performance that he put in against Derby, we just have to make sure that he's fit and well and raring to go," said the Rovers boss. "We'll be needing a big performance from him.
"Gael has done his hamstring, so we'll assess that. It was disappointing for him following his performance on Tuesday.
"Fortunately if Gael isn't right then we have Grant who is coming back after suspension, plus I thought Karim Rekik was quite aggressive when he came on.
"Jason has a knock on his knee so hopefully he'll be alright, he's improving day by day."
Tickets for the match at the Den are priced at £26 Adults, £17 for Seniors over 60, £13 for Under 16s and £7 for Under 12s. Call the ticket office on 0871 222 1444 for further information.
