Build on Derby win

16 April 2013

David Dunn has called on Rovers to follow up Saturday's win over Derby County with another home victory tonight.

Rovers picked up a welcome three points with the 2-0 win over the Rams at the weekend, and now as they prepare to take on Huddersfield Town at Ewood this evening, Dunny knows that they have to maintain that winning form.

"Confidence is a real big thing and I think that maybe we have lacked it this season at times," Dunn told Radio Rovers. "I think slowly it is coming back a little bit and I'm obviously very pleased to get the three points.

"What we can't do is get carried away, we are still in it and we need to build on it now.

"Back to back wins would be nice, we've got a few big games coming up so we need to try and mount a decent little charge towards the end and see if we can creep up to mid-table."

The midfielder is prepared for another tough encounter this evening, particularly after Huddersfield's impressive 3-1 away win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

"It is a crucial game, they had a good win against Wolves so they'll be full of confidence coming into this game," added Dunn.

"I think we've just got to set our stall out in a similar kind of performance, maybe an extra five percent and we'll be fine."

Tickets for tonight's match will be on open sale up unti the 7.45pm kick-off, priced from £19 for Adults, £12 Seniors and £7 for Juniors Under 16.
