A game to look forward to

20 April 2013

Gary Bowyer is anticipating a difficult match when they take on Watford at Vicarage Road this Saturday afternoon.

Boosted by consecutive wins over Derby County and Huddersfield Town, the team travel in confident mood, but come up against a Gianfranco Zola side still within a shout of an automatic promotion place.

"We are all very much looking forward to going to Vicarage Road," Bowyer told Rovers Player.

"It is going to be a great place to go and play, it should be a good game of football because they like to pass it.

"So it is going to be a tough game, they are up there, they are fighting for promotion.

"They've got good footballers so we are going to have to go there and be on the front foot, be aggressive and look to get them on the counter a little bit as well. Play our own style.

"It was well documented about the players they brought in and it took them time to settle, so you have to give credit to the manager because he's got them playing and they look like a good group.

"We are fully aware of the task that lies ahead but it is just about us picking up points, it doesn't matter where we get them, home or away, it is just about us getting them on the board."

Tickets for the Watford game will be on sale from the turnstiles at Vicarage Road from 1.30pm. Prices are £26 Adults, £15 Seniors/Students and £10 Juniors.
