Local children have been keeping active and improving their football skills this summer with Blackburn Rovers Community Trust’s popular Soccer Camp.
Boys and girls aged between 5 and 16 attended the sessions held at Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre.
In the mornings participants spent time improving their dribbling, passing, turning and possessions skills.
After lunch the children learnt about nutrition and tested their general sports knowledge with crosswords, quizzes and through research to produce informative posters.
The participants and coaches then returned to the football pitches for a fun shooting practise session.
Each day finished with the opportunity to show off the new skills learnt in a competitive match.
Look out for the next Soccer Camp in the autumn half term holiday.
