Having spent six years at Ashton Gate, Bradley Orr would love to play against Bristol City on Saturday.
The 29-year-old is looking forward to seeing some familiar faces when the two sides go head-to-head this weekend and is keen to be involved.
"It'll be a bit strange but this is one fixture that I have looked forward to," admitted the defender.
"It is a club where I was for six years and I had so many good times there so I'm really looking forward to going back.
"There are still four or five lads that are still there from when I was there, but it is a different squad and a new manager.
"But there are still a lot of people there that I know and who I think a lot of and I am looking forward to seeing."
Having played for City for so long, the Liverpudlian knows that the match certainly won't be an easy one for Rovers, and he is expecting a lively atmosphere.
"They've got very passionate fans. It is a big city, I think the city itself is as big as Liverpool and Bristol City is the big club.
"So they have got a passionate set of fans who can get very loud when they want to so it'll be difficult on that score but certainly something that we are capable of handling.
"I'm looking forward to the atmosphere and the day as a whole."
Tickets will be available from Ashton Gate on the day of the game priced at £25 for Adults, £20 for Seniors 65 and over, and £12 for Juniors aged under 16.
