Rovers fans at Ewood on Friday night could see two new signings in action.

Rovers Reserves play their first home game of the new Barclays Under-21 Premier League this Friday at Ewood Park and there could be a couple of new faces on show.

Gary Bowyer's development squad take on Bolton Wanderers, a game in which deadline-day signings Grzegorz Sandomierski and Nuno Henrique are expected to feature.

Rules for the new Under-21 league allow for three overage outfield players plus a goalkeeper to be named in the 16 so Rovers are expected to take advantage of that against the Trotters.

"Some of them will get a run out," revealed first team boss Steve Kean.

"Guys like Nuno Henrique haven't played very much, he joined us late so I think it'll be a good opportunity to give him a block of time under his belt so he'll play.

"Certainly Greg, the goalkeeper who has joined us, he'll play as well and possibly another couple.

"So we have plenty of options but what we have to do is make sure that we have a healthy enough squad that gets us points against Bristol City and those not included, instead of them travelling and not being on the bench, if they can get a game under their belt at Ewood then it'll be a good weekend for everybody"

Kick-off at Ewood Park this Friday is 7.00pm. Season Ticket Holders can see the game for free on production of their season ticket card, whilst general admission prices are £4 for Adults and £2 Concessions.

The Jack Walker Lower Tier will be open for the game.
