Two of Rovers' four players out on loan saw game time at the weekend.
Rovers have David Goodwillie, Myles Anderson, Anthony O'Connor and Ryan Edwards all away, but only the latter two were involved for their respective clubs on Saturday.
David Goodwillie was an unused substitute as Crystal Palace defeated Cardiff City 3-2 at Selhurst Park, whilst Myles Anderson also watched on as Accrington Stanley scored a last minute winner over Aldershot Town at the Crown Ground.
Anthony O'Connor played the full ninety minutes as Burton Albion needed a last minute goal from Calvin Zola to rescue a point at Torquay.
The home side lead from the 18th minute through Rene Howe, but Albion stretched their unbeaten run to four with the point at Plainmoor.
At Spotland, Ryan Edwards played the full game for Rochdale as they were pegged back by a second half comeback by Dagenham & Redbridge.
Rochdale raced into a two-goal half-time lead thanks to strikes from Dele Adebola and Bobby Grant, but the sending off of 'Dale defender Kevin McIntyre saw the advantage switch to the visitors. McIntyre seeing red for a professional foul, Mickey Spillane scoring from the resulting 60th minute penalty.
Eight minutes later the Daggers drew level, Sam Williams heading home to earn a share of the points.
