Steve Kean is eager for his latest trio of signings to integrate themselves with their new surroundings as quickly as possible.
Rovers were busy in the transfer market throughout the summer, none more so than on deadline day when three further deals were completed with the arrivals of Grzegorz Sandomierski, Diogo Rosado and Nuno Henrique.
Scouting reports on all three were very favourable and now the Rovers boss can't wait to see them in action on the training ground to see how quickly they can get up to speed with life in England.
"It has been a very busy time for us with Grzegorz, Diogo and Henrique all arriving," said Kean. "We've brought in a goalkeeper, an attacking midfield player and a defender to add greater depth to the squad.
"Now we'd like to think that we can get a real look at them. I've not seen them play live, Shebby was very excited about them coming and was telling me how good they were so we've now got them inside the club and we'd like to feel that we can improve any player that comes to the club and also integrate them as quickly as possible.
"Shebby went to see Nuno Henrique play for Academica the Friday before we played Leicester, he told me he played very well.
"The reports we do have for Grzegorz the goalkeeper are good, but again I've not seen him play myself, whilst we've had Diogo for a few weeks and he did well until he picked up a knock in training.
"We like to think that any player that comes we can improve. The type of training and technical repetition we do we can improve anybody.
"Bobby Mimms, on first impression with Grzegorz, was impressed, he thinks he has all the atributes to become a good goalkeeper.
"With Nuno Henrique, he is meant to have good pace, good defending abilities and is good on the ball, so lets see, we've got them in the building and we can have a real good look at them."
