Up for the challenge

3 October 2012

Eric Black is expecting another tough away encounter when Rovers face Forest this evening.

Black took charge of the first team on Saturday and will be at the helm at the City Ground as Rovers look to maintain their unbeaten start to the season on their travels.

"It is going to be a challenge like every game we have faced this season," said the Scotsman.

"It is going to be a hard, hard game, there is no doubt about that and I'm sure it will be a good atmosphere as well.

"Any away game in the Championship is a hard game, as we witnessed on Saturday."

Whilst Black was happy with the point collected in the weekend draw with Charlton, he knows that there were elements that need to be improved upon, but with the games coming thick and fast there has been little time to put that into practice on the training ground.

"We've watched the game against Charlton and we've feel there are things which we can improve on," added Black.

"We've not had a lot of training time because of the turnaround with the games,  but we've had enough that we can get out there and set things out.

"We'll try and make sure that we are competitive and try and win the game."

Tickets will be on sale at the City Ground this evening priced at £22 for Adults, £16 for Seniors, £12 for Under 18s and £6 for Under 12s.
