Rovers are expected to include three players who missed out on international duty in the squad against Derby County.
Jordan Rhodes and Grant Hanley returned early from the Scotland setup with ankle and groin injuries respectively, whilst Martin Olsson missed out on Sweden's amazing 4-4 draw with Germany in Berlin with food poisoning, but all three are hopeful of being back for the trip to Pride Park.
However two players who were on duty have come back with knocks. Fabio Nunes sustained a hamstring strain with the Portugal Under-21 squad and Simon Vukcevic picked up a groin strain playing for Montenegro in their World Cup qualifier against the Ukraine.
Markus Olsson remains absent with a hamstring strain.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's game, Eric Black said: "Martin Olsson had food poisoning when he was away with the national team, but he has come back and trained today so we are optimistic with him.
"Simon Vukcevic has come back and has a groin strain so he's doubtful and young Fabio has come back with a hamstring so I would suggest that he is doubtful as well.
"However both Jordan and Grant trained today so we are happy to include them in the squad, but Markus unfortunately is still out so he won't be travelling with us. But we are hopeful in the next 10-12 days that he might re-join the group."
Eric Black should select from: Robinson, Kean, Orr, Olsson, Givet, Lowe, Dunn, Formica, Rhodes, Pedersen, Murphy, Dann, Paulo Jorge, Etuhu, Nuno Gomes, Rochina, Hanley, Ribeiro, Kazim-Richards.
