Blackburn Rovers can report ‘sound progress’ in the search to find a new manager.
Ewood Park officials have confirmed that the interviewing process of prospective candidates will take place over the coming days.
“We understand that many supporters are feeling frustrated, but we said from the outset that we would not be rushed into an appointment. This is far too big a decision for that,” said Rovers’ Global Advisor Shebby Singh.
“There is a daily diet of non-stop media speculation and we cannot affect that. All we ask is for a little more patience.”
Rovers have received a very strong response to the current vacancy, with a high level of candidates expressing interest in the post.
