Striker eager to return for Rovers against Wolves.
It has been a frustrating few weeks for striker Colin Kazim-Richards.
After making an immediate impact at Rovers, scoring on his first two appearances for the club, the Turkish international sustained a knee injury that has kept him out of action for the last six weeks.
But after coming on as a substitute against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night, the on-loan striker has thrown his name into the ring for a starting place against Wolves on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the match the 26-year-old admitted: "It feels like it has been forever, it has been six weeks I think, so it is great to be back. I now can't wait for Saturday.
"I've never had a serious injury before, I've had little strains here and there but nothing like this, it was my posterior cruciate.
"I don't like missing training, I don't like missing games so it was very frustrating to be out.
"Coming on against Forest was good for me mentally as prior to that I had come back too soon, I thought I was ready, I joined in training and after a few minutes I re-aggravated it, so that is what took it to six weeks.
"I'm not 100% but I'm ready to go, if the gaffer asks me then I'll be ready, I'm ready to give my all for the team. If he wants me to start I'm 200% ready."
