David Dunn is rated as doubtful to be fit for Saturday's match against Watford.
The Rovers midfielder will go for a scan on a calf injury this Thursday afternoon, but it is highly unlikely that he'll be available for the Ewood encounter.
Rovers don't have any other fresh injury worries ahead of the game against Gianfranco Zola's side, but with no other players close to returning just yet, Black will name a similar squad to the one that defeated Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
"I think he's going to be really doubtful," admitted Black when asked about David Dunn. "He's getting a scan this afternoon, he's still feeling it this morning so it is unlikely that he'll be involved.
"There are one or two others that we are trying to get back, Markus Olsson trained with the sports scientist and the fitness coaches this morning so that is a little bit encouraging.
"Fabio trained a little bit with Dave Fevre but he's probably three or four weeks away. Nuno Henrique is still three or four weeks away.
"Vukcevic is still feeling his groin so it could be six to ten days before he is back with us.
"So there's no good news with regards to them and Saturday."
The manager will select from: Robinson, Orr, Olsson, Givet, Lowe, Dunn, Formica, Rhodes, Pedersen, Murphy, Dann, Etuhu, Nuno Gomes, Rochina, R. Hanley, G. Hanley, Ribeiro, Kean, Kazim-Richards.
