Wednesday's internationals

14 November 2012

Five players could get game time in the latest round of matches.

Wednesday evening could see more Rovers players in action for their countries as international friendlies and a World Cup qualifier take place.

Simon Vukcevic is with the Montenegrin squad for their FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifier against San Marino.

A win this evening in Podgorica will see Montenegro go above England in the Group H standings and a heavy defeat for bottom placed San Marino would see Montenegro's goal difference boosted at the same time.

Vukcevic, who has burst back onto the scene at club level for Rovers, is expected to start this evening.

Also starting this evening is New Zealand international Tim Payne. The young Rover is a confirmed starter for the All Whites who have a friendly match against China in Shanghai.

Martin Olsson will be hoping to face England at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, whilst Jordan Rhodes and Grant Hanley will be looking to impress interim Scotland boss Billy Stark in their away friendly against Luxembourg.
