Rhodes: Saturday wasn't us

5 November 2012

Striker admits that it wasn't a 'Blackburn Rovers performance' against Palace.

Jordan Rhodes want Rovers to bounce straight back when they take on Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.

Rovers' record striker admitted that the side were below par against Crystal Palace on Saturday as they suffered their first away defeat of the season.

The games come thick and fast in the npower Championship so Rovers and Rhodes have the opportunity to put that behind them.

"Saturday was tough to take, it wasn't a Blackburn Rovers performance," admitted Rhodes.

"We didn't play as well as we know we can do but sometimes in football that happens through no fault of trying and giving your best.

"We worked as hard as we could, probably harder than we had in previous games, chasing ater the ball and what have you. But sometimes games like that happen.

"Hopefully against Huddersfield we'll give it our best shot and work as hard as we can and hopefully the performance will be reversed from Saturday."

Tickets for Tuesday night's game are now off sale at Ewood but will be on sale on the turnstiles at Huddersfield, cash only.

Tickets are priced at £25 for Adults, £15 for Students and over 60s, £10 for under 16s and £5 for under 8s.
