Make it a day to remember

9 November 2012

Henning hopes the fans turn up in their numbers and back the team to victory.

Boss Henning Berg has praised the football club over their 'Kids for a quid' offer at this weekend's match against Birmingham City.

Rovers are well-known as a club that provides excellent value for money when it comes to their ticketing policy and the new manager believes that this Saturday's offer reinforces that.

"It is a good thing the club are doing because this club has always been a family club," said Berg.

"I know there have been difficult times lately but there has been a change now, we are looking to make things more stable and looking to work forward.

"I hope that everybody turns up and gets behind the team, helps the team on the pitch because I know how important that can be.

"Playing for crowds that really support the team, that help them to produce their very best is a fantastic feeling for the players.

"Sometimes the players also need help and they also know that the players also have to play a tupe of football to encourage the crowd so the crowd can see the commitment, they can see the work-rate, they can see that these players really want to win the game.

"If we can find that I'm sure everybody will get behind the team."

Tickets for Henning's homecoming are on open sale with prices from £19 for Adults, Seniors £12 and Team Rovers members for just £1.
