Loan round-up

13 November 2012

It was a busy weekend for those players out on loan.

Young goalkeeper Christopher Dilo became the latest player to go out for some first team experience and he impressed for Hyde FC despite their 3-2 defeat at Ebbsfleet United.

Fellow goalkeeper Matty Urwin was unable to play for his loan club Taunton Town after sustaining an ankle injury in training.

The only Rovers loan player to finish on the winning side at the weekend was central defender Ryan Edwards.

The 19-year-old played the full ninety minutes for John Coleman's side as they scored an injury-time winner to overcome Wycombe Wanderers 2-1.

The win sees them move back into a top-six position.

Anthony O'Connor again played the full match for the Brewers as Burton Albion lost 1-0 at Cheltenham Town, as did Josh Morris, but it was a day to forget for Rotherham United as they lost 5-0 Dagenham and Redbridge. Micah Evans was an unused substitute as Chesterfield lost 3-2 at Bristol Rovers.

Osayamen Osawe wasn't involved as Accrington Stanley lost 4-2 at home to Northampton Town, nor was Myles Anderson as bottom-placed Aldershot Town lost 2-0 to Bradford City.
