Etuhu expects tough match

28 November 2012

Dickson Etuhu is looking forward to the first derby of the season when Rovers come up against Bolton this evening.

The midfielder believes that Bolton will be a tough challenge for Rovers, but says a win is vital to start the derby double header.

The midfielder says he has been impressed with the impact Henning Berg has made as manager and stressed how important the support of the fans is to push us in the right direction.

"It is going to be a good game," Etuhu told Rovers Player. "They came down with us so it is two big teams going up against each other.

"Everybody expects both sides to go back up so it'll be a tough game, but we are looking forward to it.

"We're at home, we should fancy ourselves and I'm sure if we play well and take our chances I'm sure we'll be fine.

"Regardless of who we play it is nice that the fans are behind us and give us that extra man, it is always good for any team."

Tickets are on sale right up until the 7.45pm kick-off priced in all areas at £15 for Adults and £5 concessions. Why not avoid the matchday queues and book online at and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point.
