Enjoyable to watch

17 November 2012

Henning Berg was a delighted man after seeing his side beat Peterborough United 4-1 at London Road.

The Norwegian watched on as a Jordan Rhodes hat-trick followed Mauro Formica's opening goal for his first victory in charge.

"I'm very happy with that," said Berg after the game.

"The quality of the play, the quality of the finishing made it really enjoyable to watch.

"We had the right attitude, we defended well as a team and when we had the chances we took them."

Berg believed that this result was coming after watching Rovers draw away at Huddersfield Town and at home to Birmingham City in their previous outings.

"We had some good performances away to Huddersfield and home to Birmingham without that cutting edge up front, but we had that today," added Berg.

"The quality with the final pass, our crossing, our movement in the box, the finishing was there and that is why we won the game.

"Overall it was a good team performance."

Rovers are back in action next Saturday when Millwall are the visitors to Ewood Park.

Tickets are on sale right now from £15 for Adults, £10 Seniors and £5 Juniors. Book online today at
