Berg's delight at Rovers return

1 November 2012

New Rovers boss Henning Berg is relishing being back at his old club.

After an extensive managerial search the 43-year-old Norwegian has put pen-to-paper on a three-year-deal to become Rovers' new manager and has described the deal as a dream come true.

Berg enjoyed some seven-and-a-half years with Rovers in two spells with the club and is over the moon to return for a third time.

Speaking exclusively to Rovers Player, Berg said: "It feels fantastic, I had a great time here as a player and fantastic memories, so to be back as manager here is a dream come true for me and I am really looking forward to this opportunity.

"It gives me a good feeling to be here, I have good memories. I know a lot of people still involved with the club.

"I know the history, I know the values of this club, I know how things have been run and we are looking forward to make sure that we manage this club in the right way and looking forward, there are a lot of positives with the club."
