Berg: More to come from Ruben

8 November 2012

Henning Berg believes that Ruben Rochina can play a huge part in the club's bid for promotion this season.

As the Norwegian prepares for his homecoming at Ewood Park this Saturday against Birmingham City, Berg is of the view that Rochina's talent can prove the difference this campaign.

The former Barcelona graduate was the stand out performer as Rovers drew 2-2 with Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night and Rovers boss knows that they need to play to Rochina's strengths to get the best out of him.

"He's a fantastic talent, his technique, his skill, his control, his dribbling," enthused Berg.

"I think there'll be a lot more coming from him, he's fantastic to watch, the way he moves the way he plays and for us we just have to find the right balance in the team.

"Making sure we have the players around him that can compliment his qualities so  we can get the best out of everybody, him and the other players around him.

"We know he has quality on the ball, we want him to express himself, we want him to use his best qualities.

"As long as he does it in the right areas and at the right times then it is fantastic."

See Henning Berg take charge of Rovers at Ewood Park for the first time this Saturday when Birmingham City are the visitors.
