Henning Berg happy with the improved performance on Wednesday night.
Rovers boss Henning Berg was pleased with the improved showing from his side in the 2-2 draw with Huddersfield Town on Wednesday evening.
After the disappointing showing against Crystal Palace on Saturday in his first game in charge, Rovers responded well at the John Smith's Stadium to dominate for long periods only to be pegged back at the death to be denied all three points.
The Norwegian was happy with the way the players approached the game and believes that they are starting to take his ideas on board and implement them and he expects continued improvement.
"It was a huge improvement in terms of our defensive play and the tactical play," said Berg after the game. "Both with the ball and without it.
"I'm happy that we are improving but of course there is room for further improvement.
"We want to be even better, we want to be quicker and do it more often, we want to score more goals and of course we want to defend even better.
"So there is room for improvement but this was a good step in the right direction, it is good to see that when we work on things we can improve."
Henning Berg takes charge of Rovers at Ewood Park for the first time this Saturday when Birmingham City are the visitors.
