We'll work our way out of this

10 December 2012

Henning Berg is hoping that the team make full use of their match-free week by putting in some good work on the training ground.

The Rovers boss aims to banish the memories of the loss to Cardiff City by working hard to right the wrongs of Friday's Ewood defeat.

"I am happy we have a whole week of training to make sure that we are 100% right for when the Blackpool game comes," Berg told Radio Rovers.

"There are many things to improve and we have to work on them."

With just one win from his first eight games in charge, boss Henning Berg knows that the team need to improve quickly to climb back into the top half of the table.

Results on Saturday saw Rovers slip to 13th in the table but three points over the Seasiders could see them back in the top half.

"We would have liked to have been out of this run a long time ago, nobody likes to be in this position and neither do we," added Berg.

"The fact is that we are in this position and we just have to make sure that we work ourselves away out of it.

"There is only us that can turn it around and we just have to make sure that we are getting back to getting results."
