Berg wants to see better from both ends of the pitch
Henning Berg has demanded that the side improve at both ends of the pitch if they are to rise back up the table.
Rovers' 2-0 loss away at Blackpool was their fourth in five outings as missed chances and defensive frailties proved costly once more.
"We have to make sure that we do our best," Berg told Rovers Player. "That we have the right commitment every time.
"But we have to improve in terms of our defending in the box. Again it was two free headers.
"Also we need to score goals when we get the chances. At home to Cardiff we lose 4-1 but overall there wasn't that much in the game.
"Of course it is important to defend better and clean sheets are important, but to get clean sheets you have to make sure that you mark the players in the box, that they don't get free headers.
"Against Blackpool we did that, against Cardiff we did that and then we make it difficult for ourselves.
"That tells you that we have to improve at both ends of the pitch."
Rovers are back in action at Ewood Park this Saturday when Brighton are the visitors. Tickets are on open sale right up until kick-off, priced from £15 for Adults, from £10 Seniors and from £5 Juniors.
