The biggest game

1 December 2012

Martin Olsson wants Rovers to put their recent results behind them and claim all three points on Sunday.

Rovers go into the match against Burnley at Turf Moor off the back of two home defeats, but whilst results haven't been what would have been wished for, the Swedish international does feel that performances are steadily getting better.

Olsson is one of a handful of Rovers players who have experienced the white-hot atmosphere of the local derby and he is very much looking forward to Sunday lunchtime and a chance to get back to winning ways.

"It is the biggest game, it is all about the three points," said Olsson.

"I'm really looking forward to it, the nerves are kicking in a little but this is a good thing. I'm looking forward to it, I'm going to be giving 100%.

"The atmosphere will be a good thing, it will keep us on our toes and focus 100%, we want to go there and get three points, we want to make the Blackburn fans happy.

"I think we are playing much better than we had done previously but we just haven't got the points.

"It has been frustrating for the team and for the players, but we are training hard so hopefully it will turn around starting this Sunday.

"We have experienced players who know this is a big game, we'll make sure we are right before the game.

"We have to be calm, try not to get stressed, we have to be switched on and hopefully get the win. It will be a fun game to play."

Rovers have sold out their ticket allocation for this game, whilst the beam-back at Ewood Park has also sold out.
