Striker available for selection

31 December 2012

Blackburn Rovers have David Goodwillie available for Tuesday's match against Nottingham Forest.

The Scottish international had been ineligible to play for the club after his loan deal with Crystal Palace was ended prematurely.

But now eligible for selection Goodwillie is expected to be added to the squad from the win over Barnsley, although several players will need late checks from the weekend game.

"We'll check on any knocks after the weekend and see who is available," said caretaker boss Gary Bowyer.

"As far as we are aware we should have a fit bunch from the Barnsley game.

"David is available, he has looked very sharp in training. We've had a couple of practice matches for him and he's looked good and scored some goals.

"In front of goal he's looked good but I think we have a lot of goals in the team, you look at Saturday's team and Josh scored which is great, Ruben got his goal and of course Jordan.

"So we've goals in the team and Goodie adds to that."

Tickets for Tuesday's match will be on sale right up until the 3.00pm kick-off.

Prices are from £15 for Adults, £10 Seniors, £12 Students and £5 Juniors. Why not avoid the queues on matchday and order your tickets online at and collect them on the day of the game from the Blackburn End collection point.
