Seeking improvement

21 December 2012

Rovers boss wants the side to bounce back against Brighton at Ewood.

Henning Berg believes Saturday's match against Brighton & Hove Albion provides Rovers with the perfect opportunity to rediscover their form.

Rovers take on Gus Poyet's Seagulls at Ewood Park looking to get back to winning ways on home soil after a run of five games without victory.

"The Brighton game is a good game for us to play, we are very much looking forward to it," said the Norwegian.

"They are a good team but we are at home and we will be looking to impose ourselves onto them."

Berg knows that his side will have to improve as they look to address a run of results that has seen them pick up just one point from their last five outings.

"We are going through a spell where we aren't happy with the results that we have had," added Berg.

"We haven't been good enough and we've been conceding goals that we really shouldn't.

"We just have to make sure that we handle these setbacks in the right way.

"We are looking forward to the game and we hope to play the football we would like to do and play to the best of our ability and do the best we can.

"We just have to find the right balance, making sure that we improve on what we are not that good at and that we continue to do what we are good at.

"Some of the players are playing well, some of the team play is good but at the moment we aren't getting the results."
