Late checks required

13 December 2012

Rovers have doubts over a trio of players for the game against Blackpool.

Rovers will give late checks to several players ahead of Saturday's Bloomfield Road match with Blackpool.

Boss Henning Berg has doubts over Mauro Formica, David Dunn and Danny Murphy in the build-up to the seaside clash.

Danny Murphy missed last Friday's match with Cardiff City with a hamstring strain, whilst David Dunn and Mauro Formica are both suffering from knocks.

"Gato has played all our games and he has not been used to playing so many games," revealed Berg.

"Those games have taken their toll on him and he's got a knock, so we'll see on Friday or Saturday how he is.

"Danny and David are getting closer but we'll have to wait and see if they are available or not."

Nuno Gomes is still sidelined with a hamstring injury but is making good progress, as is long-term injury victim Leon Best.

Tickets for Saturday's match at Bloomfield Road have all sold out. Rovers Player will be providing full match commentary of the game from 2.45pm.
