Rovers Ladies have boosted their ranks for the second half of the season with a double transfer swoop.
Scott Rogers’ side have signed Preston North End goalkeeper Lauren Bracewell and Northern Ireland Under-19 international midfielder Hayley O’Donnell.
The Rovers manager said: “We are really pleased to bring in both players.
“Lauren has been Preston’s first-choice keeper for several seasons and is a player with great potential.
“We have been struggling on the goalkeeping front of late, with Krystal Parker (knee), Gemma Jackson (groin) and Chloe Grice (ankle) all out injured in recent weeks.
“We needed to bring another goalkeeper in and Lauren ticked all the boxes. But she has not come here to sit on the bench, she has come to fight for a place, because she has the ability.
“Hayley is another talented youth international, who has just moved to Manchester University and we are delighted to pick her up.
“She is technically very good and will provide an extra option for both the first team and the Reserves.”
