Henning Berg has expressed his disappointment after today's match against Brighton was called off.
Match referee Robert Madley inspected the Ewood Park pitch just after noon this Saturday and deemed it unplayable
"I'm very disappointed," the manager told Radio Rovers. "We have prepared for this game all week so of course we would have liked to have played.
"We looked at it as a good opportunity to win again and for it to be called off this early was even more disappointing.
"You would have liked them to hold on a bit longer to see if it stops raining then maybe it would be possible.
"Yes we know that at 12.30pm there was no chance for the game to be played, but you never know with the weather, even though the forecast was for there to be more rain this afternoon.
"I was hoping they could wait a little bit longer and make a decision a little bit later then maybe the game could have been on.
"It is our Christmas home game so I'm disappointed for our supporters who have missed out."
