Tim Payne is set to play the biggest game of his young career.

The Rovers starlet is expected to line up for New Zealand today in a win-or-bust game against Brazil.

Tim, who scored the winning goal in last season's FA Youth Cup final at Ewood Park, has so far played every minute for the Oly Whites in their opening two group games.

New Zealand lost 1-0 to Belarus in their opening Olympic encounter, before drawing 1-1 with Egypt at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Kiwis consequently find themselves bottom of Group C, knowing that only a victory over the Samba stars of Brazil at St. James' Park today will give them a chance of reaching the knockout stage.
