Kean expects tough encounter

22 August 2012

Rovers boss knows that tonight's match against Hull City won't be easy.

Steve Kean knows what kind out side Rovers will come up against when they face Hull City at Ewood Park this Wednesday evening.

Following on from Saturday's opening day draw against Ipswich Town, Rovers kick-off their home campaign against Steve Bruce's Hull in the 7.45pm kick-off.

"I'm expecting a disciplined, organised side," said Kean on Hull.

"Maybe they won't be as attacking as they perhaps were at home, they may come and try to stop us playing first.

"But we know it will be a tough game, matches against sides that Steve Bruce manages are always like that."

Supporters are reminded that home kick-offs this season will predominantly be 7.45pm. Tickets for the game will be on open sale up until kick-off and are priced from just £15 for Adults, £10 for Seniors/Students and £5 for Juniors 15 and under.

Book online now at and collect from the Blackburn End collection point in the run-up to the game.
