Aiming high

24 August 2012

Steve Kean wants Rovers to reach 90 points this season.

After picking up points in the two matches played to date, Steve Kean knows of the importance of continuing that run throughout the season.

The npower Championship is recognised as one of the toughest leagues in the world and the Rovers boss has set his team an equally tough points target with the aim of clinching promotion.

"When you look at the stats you can't have a period when you don't pick up points," said Kean.

"Everybody knows that if you can get to the 90-point mark then that is going to be very close to winning the league.

"So that is our target, we want to be pushing on and making sure we use home advantage like we did against Hull City on Wednesday night.

"It is another game coming up at Ewood against a good side, it'll be tough but we need to keep chipping away and get the points on the board as soon as possible."

Tickets for the Leicester game will be on open sale right up to the 3.00pm kick-off with prices from £19 for Adults, from £12 for Students and Seniors and from £7 for Juniors under 16.

Book online today at www.onerovers.co.uk and collect your tickets from the Blackburn End collection point on the day of the game.
