Rovers Ladies continued their winning start to life in the Women's Premier League National Division with a comfortable victory against Hull City Ladies at Bamber Bridge.
It's now two wins from two and a couple of clean sheets for Gemma Donnelly's side, who sit in third place in the table.
The hosts started well and took the lead as Natasha Flint raced away from the Hull backline to confidently tuck past the goalkeeper to hand the home side the lead after just 13 minutes.
Flint almost made it 2-0 soon after but lifted her shot over the bar just before the half hour mark as Donnelly's team searched for more.
But a minute before the break and that second goal did come. Saffron Jordan fed Hannah Walsh and she slotted home to add daylight to the score and make the half time team talk a little easier.
The second half saw Rovers continue on the front foot with Lagin Makin troubling the visitors a couple of times before being replaced just before the hour.
The chances continued to come, but the score remained the same, with Rovers controlling the game well to see out the game and register another win.
Rovers Ladies: Brooks, Taylor (Stewart, 65, Shepherd (c), Stuart, Holbrook, Davies, Jordan, Flint, Makin (Donoghue, 57), McDonald, Walsh (O'Gara, 74).
