What's happening at Ewood Park?

Upcoming Rovers events in February...

1st: The Under-18s are the first Rovers side in action this month, hosting Manchester United's Under-18s at the Rovers Academy, kick-off 11am.

1st: A trip to Teesside sees Tony Mowbray return to the Riverside as Rovers head to Middlesbrough, kick-off 3pm.

2nd: Rovers Ladies are in action at home to Durham Women at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium in Bamber Bridge, kick-off 2pm.

3rd: The Development Squad are in action at the Rovers Academy, with Derby County's Under-23s heading to Brockhall Village for a Premier League 2 outing, kick-off 12pm.

3rd: The latest Blackburn Rovers Sports College open night looks forward to welcoming year 10 and 11 pupils to check out their future options; head to the classrooms on the ground floor of the Darwen End between 6pm and 8pm.

6th: Remember The Rovers – open to any fans aged 50 and over, especially those with Alzheimer’s or dementia – welcomes club vice president George Root to recount a lifetime of wonderful memories supporting and directing the club. Delivered in partnership with Age UK Blackburn with Darwen, it runs from 10.30am to midday in the Directors’ Guest Lounge, with the £1 admission including free hot drinks, biscuits and a quiz.

6th: It's our Sliding Doors night in Blues, which runs from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. 

7th: It's our Men in Sheds night in Strikers' Lounge at Ewood Park. Don't miss this opportunity for men to come together and overcome isolation with mental and physical health benefits through a variety of interesting social activities. The event runs from 4pm-6pm.

7th: It's our Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Youth Club night. The fun starts in Strikers' Lounge at Ewood Park between 6pm to 8pm. Please note this is for ages 11+.

7th: It's our Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Youth Club night. The fun starts in the Livesey All Age Centre in Blackburn between 3.15pm to 5.15pm. Please note this is for ages 8-11.

7th: It's our Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Youth Club night. The fun starts in the Knott Street Centre in Darwen between 7pm to 9pm. Please note this is for ages 11-16.

7th: The Development Squad are in Premier League Cup action against Middlesbrough Under-23s, with Heritage Park the venue for the 7pm kick-off.

8th: A first February outing at Ewood Park sees Fulham make the long trip north, kick-off 3pm against Scott Parker's Londoners.

9th: A trip to the Butts Park Arena sees Rovers Ladies head south to take on Coventry United Ladies, kick-off 2pm.

11th: Rovers will be looking for a league double when Hull City head to Ewood Park in the Championship, kick-off 7.45pm for this one. The game has been designated as this season’s NCS matchday, which sees us promoting this fantastic opportunity that Blackburn Rovers Community Trust offers to hundreds of 15 to 17-year-olds every summer. Keep an eye out around the stadium for our awareness stall in Jack’s Fanzone and involvement in events from graduates from the programme.

14th: Leyland is the venue as Billy Barr's Development Squad host Southampton at the Lancashire FA HQ, kick-off 7pm.

15th: The first of two trips to the capital in a week, with a voyage to Charlton Athletic for Rovers, kick-off 3pm at The Valley.

15th: Rover The Dog will be among the special guests at the grand unveiling of the newly revamped community facilities at Greenfield Community Centre on Green Lane. Catch him there from around 1pm if you’re not able to travel to Charlton.

17th-21st: The latest half-term Football and Activity Camps, delivered by Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, return to Ewood Park. Open to children aged five to 11 and running from 9am to 3pm daily (with a further After Camp from 3pm to 5pm for parents working a full day), full details and booking information can be found at www.brfctrust.co.uk.

18th: The Blackburn with Darwen Sports Council holds its monthly meeting in the Blackburn Rovers Business Centre conference room (Darwen End first floor) for the first time. Starting from 7.30pm, new volunteer members representing grassroots sport within our borough are always welcome to attend.

18th: FA Youth Cup action for Mike Sheron's Under-18s, with Ewood Park the venue for the tie against Preston North End's Under-18s, with a spot in the quarter-finals of the competition at stake.

20th: A Premier League Cup outing for the Development Squad sees the team head to Morecambe's Globe Arena to tackle Burnley's Under-23s, kick-off 1pm.

21st: The first Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Bingo Night of 2020 takes place on a fun half-term evening in Blues, offering entertainment for all ages. Advance tickets at just £6 (including hot food and tickets for the five main bingo games) are available online via www.brfctrust.co.uk or cost £8 on the door, subject to availability. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

22nd: It's a home test for the Under-18s, with Newcastle United's Under-18s heading to Brockhall for a league contest, kick-off 12.30pm at the Rovers Academy base.

22nd: Back on the road, Tony Mowbray's first team make their final trip to Brentford's Griffin Park, kick-off is at the earlier time of 12.30pm in London.

25th: The second Blackburn Rovers Sports College open night of the month is offered to year 10 and 11 pupils to check out their future options; head to our classrooms on the ground floor of the Darwen End between 6pm and 8pm.

26th: Michael O'Neill brings his Stoke City side to Ewood Park for a night under the lights, kick-off 7.45pm.

27th: It's our Sliding Doors night in Blues, which runs from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.

28th: A final outing for the Development Squad sees us host Liverpool's Under-23s in Premier League 2 Division 1 at the Lancashire FA HQ in Leyland, kick-off 7pm.

29th: A trip to Manchester City sees Mike Sheron's Under-18s take on the the Citizens at the Academy Stadium in Manchester, kick-off at 11am.

29th: The first team finish the month with a home clash against Swansea City at Ewood Park, kick-off 3pm against Steve Cooper's play-off chasing outfit. From 1pm ahead of the Swansea City game, we’re celebrating World Book Day in Strikers’ Family Lounge! Head up to the second floor of the Blackburn End before kick-off to check out the deals and potential freebies we’re offering on some engaging children’s books.
