Following a successful trial, Rovers completed the signing of this highly-rated striker from Everton during the 2013 January transfer window.
A strong attacking player with a good turn of pace, Anton scored his first goals for Rovers in only his second appearance with a brace for the Under-21s 2-1 win over Chelsea in February 2013, going on to score four goals in his first four reserve-team outings. A first team debut soon followed as the striker featured as a substitute in the FA Cup quarter-final replay against Millwall.
An excellent first half to the 2013-14 season on loan at Bury saw the League Two side extend Forrester's deal for the remainder of the campaign, but unfortunately a serious knee ligament injury ended the striker's season prematurely.
After nine months out the striker returned to action in December 2014, scoring two goals against Derby County for Rovers' Under-21s, but has since been sidelined by niggling injuries so often picked up after such a long time out of the game.
