With good handling and shot stopping abilities, this young goalkeeper has what it takes to reach the top.

Kean joined Rovers after a successful trial following his release from Derby County at the end of the 2008/09 season.

Starting with the Academy, the tall shot stopper soon progressed from the Under-18s to the Reserves before enjoying loan spells with Hartlepool United and Rochdale.

Kean made his Rovers debut on the final day of the 2011-12 season against Chelsea, putting in an impressive display away at Stamford Bridge.

The following season saw Kean made number two goalkeeper and following an injury to Paul Robinson he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

Strong displays saw him retain the jersey until a knee injury cut short his season at the beginning of April.

Now free of injury, Kean is expected to be between the posts for Rovers come the start of the 2013-14 campaign.
